Refunds

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return. We’ll leave the shipping costs to you, while we handle everything else.

Please keep in mind that all our products are made to order (so they don’t exist before you purchase them) and so we kindly ask you to make conscious purchases. Please read the sizing info and all the details carefully before placing an order, as we are a small business and any unjustified return represents a loss for us. 

So, pleeeease pretty please don’t go on a “I’ll order multiple sizes, see which one fits and then return the others” bender because we don’t have the capacity of big retailers and we’ll cry. If you have any doubts or require any extra info about the products, just send us an e-mail at emilia@life-tickles.com before purchasing, and we’ll go through it together.


To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. Pretty standard stuff.

To start a return, you can contact us at emilia@life-tickles.com and we’ll send you the necessary information as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Please don’t send items back to us without first requesting a return, as they will not be accepted and probably end-up somewhere in outer space.

If you have any inquiries, doubts, concerns or general existential angst about things, you can always contact us at the email above and we’ll do our best to help you out. Being a small business also means you’re always in contact with a couple of human beings, so you don’t need to go through chatbots or faceless customer service. We hope you won’t encounter any issues, but know that if you do, there’s always someone there to listen and help out.

 

Damages and issues
Sometimes unpleasant things happen on the products’ journey to you, whether it’s Mercury retrograde, exceptionally bumpy rides or paranormal activity. So please make sure to inspect your order as soon as you get it and contact us immediately if your product is defective, damaged or if (gasp!) you received the wrong item. This way we can quickly evaluate the issue and make it right. We’ll offer a replacement product or a refund, depending on the case.

 

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), sale items or gift cards (if we’ll ever make them). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Exchanges
Also known as the fastest way to ensure you get what you want. If you need to exchange a product, you can proceed with its return and, once it’s all done and we accept it, we’ll place a new order and send you the right item instead. As with all our products, please allow 1-3 days for production & preparation before shipping. The return shipping costs will be covered by you, we’ll take care of everything else.

 

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As mentioned, we’ll cry & issue a refund or offer an exchange if that’s feasible. The return item must be in the same condition that you received it, of course, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. We’ll also ask for the receipt or proof of purchase.

 

Refunds
Once we’ve received and carefully inspected your return, we’ll let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days – easy, peasy. As with most things in life, please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
However, if more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, there’s no planet in retrograde and you still have nothing in your bank account, please give us a shout at emilia@life-tickles.com.
